Been hearing this a lot these past few days, amazing album, although I think Draconian Times is a bit better.

The reviewer must have been fucked up on something fierce though, if he thinks that Sweetness is the best song here. That was actually a bit boring TBH, nowhere near the awesomeness of Embers Fire, Joys of the Emptiness and True Belief.

I love this album. I had borrowed a tape of it when I only had a cassette player in my car. Listened to it for a solid month straight through. Never got old. I've never really delved deep into PL's discography though.

I intend to listen to the gothic/death doom stuff, but I'm avoiding their electronic albums. I heard a single of one of those and it was apalling tbh

Then you MUST listen to the current one, because Faith Divides us is Gothic/Doom like Icon and even heavier.

Heavier?! Actually Faith... disappointed me somewhat, it lacked that dark atmosphere that is normally prevalent in Paradise Lost
