Total Eclipse

Total Eclipse was not on the original album.

For whatever reason Iron Maiden never included some of their singles on their albums (e.g. Women In Uniform, Sanctuary, Twilight Zone and Total Eclipse).

Later re-releases in the mid-late 1990's saw the inclusion of these songs on the albums.

I've got an older version of Number of the Beast with no Total Eclipse. I've contemplated getting it replaced but could never justify the extra outlay for one song.

It's actually a very ordinary track . Not worth the money.

I really like Total Eclipse! What's with all the hatin'? Better than Gangland, that's for damn sure. But...yeah, that's it as far as NOTB goes (i.e. all other tracks are better...except possibly Invaders :P)

never could like these guys. sure they have some good songs, but I can never sit through a full album. this is no exception.

Anthrax > Testament

I can't even think of a good Anthrax album.

Spreading the disease and Persistence of Time are great albums, too.

Eh I guess I suppose I could at least give them another chance since so many of you are constantly backing the group. It's been a few years since I've really sat down and listened to them. I'm sure I'll bother to do so sometime here soon.

Sound of White Noise ain't bad either. And even State of Euphoria has its moments.

I even like Volume 8, but it's not their best. Stomp 442 on the other hand is complete rubbish.

The great period for Anthrax IMO was 1985-1993 (STD to SOWN).

Machine Head is a thrash pioneer?
Anyway, I personally prefer Legacy over this one, but this is a solid thrash classic overall.
