oh zaddy, you are funny sometimes

as for LedZep, well. nothing needs to be said that hasn't already been said.

people will hate, and let them. if they can't find enjoyment here, then they are a lost cause.

You do know Jimmy Page was in Led Zep too, right? Jeez, at least post that Jake Holmes fellow, make an effort.

Either way, does not detract from the awesomeness.

Actually, it shows how great a band LZ was. They redid good songs and made great songs with it. Including this one where it is not Jimmy but Robert who makes all the difference in the LZ version.

So, basically : LED ZEPPELIN = GREATEST COVER BAND EVER!

Classic, as the next bunch of Led albums.
Nothing more to say.

it’s hard to get a much more kickass album opener than Good Times Bad Times

Achilles Last Stand comes to mind, but I've always prefered later 'Zep anyway.

Good review though,certainly classic worthy.

Not my favorite Zep, but well deserving classic status.

Yeah, Achilles Last Stand sure comes to mind.

IV through Presence is my favorite period of the band's history but I have nothing against their earlier stuff.

The question is what took you guys so long to review a Zep album in the classics anyway?

Can't really fuck with this band. And all this shit about them not giving proper credit to black artists and ripping off their music is unwarranted. When you take a song and change it around so much that it becomes a new song, then you aren't copying. Led Zeppelin took basic ideas from black musicians and made them their own. Once they finished doing that on the early albums...they wrote mind numbing classics like Achilles Last Stand and Nobody's Fault but Mine.
