Geez No comments I wonder why in the last 3.5 years this has been reviewed that no one said anything and I'll tell you why 100 for this I got to wonder how much weed the reviewer was smoking at the time he was listening to this because this doesn't deserve 100.

Now that's not saying that Point Of Entry isn't a good album it deserves somewhere between 78-80 but as stated in the review this was a commercial disaster because this wasn't your typical Judas Priest album.I applaud JP for going the progressive route but this could have been better had they sticked with their formula they were doing before with Stained Class to British Steel then added the progressive elements.

Still a decent album but it doesn't deserve the 100 score.

One of the least appealing Priest albums. Someone loving it to the point of giving it 100/100 is almost a freak accident.

I usually forget about this album in Priest's discography.
Maybe I should listen to this and see if any of it stands out.

I think this album suffers from some weak tracks that were undoubtedly influenced by writing these songs while relaxing in a Spanish? resort. This is Priest on umbrella drinks. The songs I'm talking about are Troubleshooter (one of the worst Priest tracks of all time), All the Way, You Say Yes.

Take away those and you have some undeniable classic cuts. Solar Angels/Desert Plains are purely sublime trips to some cloudless desert night or the depths of space. Heading Out to the Highway is probably the gold standard for cliche riff from which it is based. Hot Rockin' (despite the cheesy video) is a great rock track, something Priest doesn't do a lot of.

A mixed bag. Priest should have stuck to driving Harleys on cloudless desert nights.

Wow 100? There's three songs worth listening to on this album. What's next? Classic status for Ram it Down?

At least Ram it Down is a good album. This... Not so much.
