Oh yeah! It doesn't get much better than this! Should have been the first CLASSIC awarded here, and then left as the only one for 10 years. It's just that damn good.

I don't know about that. Its more power metal than classic metal. Sad Wings of Destiny is a better representation of Classic Metal.

yup, though Painkiller is one of their finest moments... to release such a blazing speed metal album in 1991. Shows that Judas Priest fucking rule.

I think it's got some power metal moments, but I find it to be more of a traditional heavy metal album. Not worth arguing, though. It could go both ways. We'll call it a draw.

For me it sounds more like classic heavy metal done faster, and with an excellent production. There are some power metal moments, but not enough to call it a power metal album.. oh and yes, Sad Wings of Destiny would also be a good representation of classic/traditional heavy metal, almost all Priest albums are like that, except those quasi-glam rock disappoitments.

Uh, it is. Look what section you just posted in.

If you're asking why the score is not "CLASSIC", it's probably because this review was done before the current method of quoting classics was adopted. If the review had been done last year, the score would say CLASSIC.
