A question: how big is the difference in production between the remastered version and the original? I haven't heard the original (and I'm probably a total poser for saying that...) but the production on the remastered version KILLS, for example the double bass on Leather Rebel just might be the best sounding double bass i've ever heard.

And yes, I don't really have anything to add. Godly album, one of the finest moments in metal :dio:

even if you don't like Priest (in which case how can you possibly like metal?) you simply MUST like this album, epitome of the word classic

and don't even bother trying to sing along to Painkiller you will never, EVER, be able to get even close to the glass shattering highs of the Metal God
