No, I did mean what I said. Those three albums in my opinion are Sepultura's best and three great ones in a row. That is why I compare them to those other three Slayer albums.

Schizophrenia, Beneath The Remains and Arise form a classic trio that sums up the best era of the band and musicians involved

+1

Nice review Zad, and this is without a doubt Sep's Classic album, even if it isnt as good as BTR or Schizophrenia (my favourite BTW).

I'll bet using "triptych" in a sentence made you feel really smart, didn't it?

Of course, there's nothing more I love than showing off my vocabulary to people I'll never meet. I thought trinity but then since it's art I thought triptych was more fitting. I'm glad somebody appreciates my intellect. Asshole.

I dunno. This is still probably my least favorite Max-era Sepultura album. Mainly because, except for the title track, Dead Embryonic Cells, Desperate Cry, and Altered State, none of the songs really stick out in my mind. It's the kind of album I can listen to from start to finish, enjoy, but more or less forget about until the next listen. Beneath The Remains is in the same boat, but its memorable songs are IMO better than Arise's, so I give that the nod for being the better of the two.

Sorry guys, but Chaos AD is still my favorite Sepultura album (and, by the looks of things, probably always will be).

It's cool, brah. Has anybody seen the video for Arise? I remember it being pretty sweet.

A bra is woman's undergarment, not a means of addressing another person.
And yes, I am aware that there is a pun lurking somewhere in there, but I am not drunk enough to figure it out.

Classic, of course. Never sure if I prefer this or BtR, but both are majestic albums.
