a good album.. but not even 1/10th as momentous as Monotheist.

I couldn't agree more with the review. Although I possessed and loved this album when it was first released, it is to this day probably my #1 favorite metal album ever! This short passage from the review says it all... " it’s pretty damn obvious that To Mega Therion is as close to perfection as Thrash Metal could get in the mid-80s, or indeed has been since" Not too slow or too fast, far from a copy of anything. To Mega Therion is unique, and spectacular. I've never heard anything else since to eclipse it.

The best classic. I never became religious about Thrash metal. But this album is significant for the entire european scene. Whether you like Bolt Thrower or Therion. Fleshcrawl or Paradise Lost. They will all say Celtic Frost inspired them.

Love their first three albums ... into the pandemonium
