Although I've heard very little from this album, it is unquestionably a classic.

OK I've only heard of this band in passing, but that review has made me want to check it out.

Like Thergothon I find this type of thing very hard to get into, I should give it another try. It's good to see something as off-the-wall as this getting a classic review though.

Massive album! Great to see an under-appreciated classic like this one reviewed.. Took your time on it as well, haha..

I think reviews like these are very important. Many classic reviews are (naturally) about bands that everybody are familiar with and enjoy. This one is fairly unknown and yet an undeniable classic, which makes the review so much more relevant.

I agree with this

If you are a fan of death metal or doom, particularly funeral doom, I urge you to pick it up. Perhaps, like me, you will find an experience that will become a constant in your collection.

but I think that this album should definitely appeal to some of the more patient BM fans as well. Not that it has many similarities in terms of the musical experience, but it achieves something related through the emotional punch. Massively emotional and dark.

I love this album: 90-something/100

The part on The Tree Of Death And Life around 3:15 when it just slows down is such a great moment. Then it goes on to tricking you into thinking it's speeding back up. I'm very fond of the drums when it does pick up in the 8-9 minute mark.
