Transilvanian hunger in classic section! Damn right!! A black metal cornerstone, so to speak of. So simplistic, but filled with so much freesing atmosphere and hatred.... Should we say, if you dont like this, you dont truly understand what black metal is basicly all about?

I don't like Transylvanian Hunger :( , I don't know why, but I guess it's for the same reason I don't like Judas Iscariot. There are some songs on the album that are nice though, such as Transylvarian Hunger, however most of them just aren't my cup of thee. Despite my feelings about the album, this is 100% classic though, don't get me wrong. 8)

Don't worry Gast, I know you love Black Metal; you're the exception to the rule  .

Yeah this is a pretty damned good album.....I just wish something other than metallica and black metal would be the focus of classic reviews. Maybe something by Raven or at the very least Peace Sells by Megadeth.

Not a big fan of this album. I like a lot of darkthrones stuff, just can't seem to get into this.

It was re-released in 03 in digipack format with a (very funny) interview with Fenriz, so it should be quite easy to get.

But I'm sure you agree it's classic.....

You pussy! If you set up a rule you have to enforce it!

Ok, all joking aside, this album is the greatest thing Darkthrone has ever done, and possibly ever will do.

yeah, it's a classic.

If i listened to it more I may get into it, when i listen to them it's usually ABITNS, Soulside (i know, im a newb), sardonic wrath and hate them.

Just kidding, take your time, everything's all turbulent now anyway.

I want to see Warlord's debut album up for review....Black Metal is all fine and dandy but there's too many BM reviews...lets bring some stuff that has been a classic for longer than ten years...whaddya say...how about something from 83 or 82....you know what, fuck it, do a review for "Rock Til You Drop" by Raven...then I will stop hounding you...whoever you may be.

the good point is that an album less than 10 years old should never be reviewed as a classic ! so why not Warlord even if, honestly, I only remember the artwork, not the music...

I hate those stupid morrons who lost me a big box of priceless heavy metal vinyls while I moved !
