Shocking.

Anyhow, I agree with others that have mentioned Days of Purgatory as being excellent. That double disc set is the real Iced Earth classic, this album was merely decent.

This album is fucking killer, but no classic, I agree. I'm not yet sure if Iced Earth have a classic album.

This is a great album, but I agree that it's probably not a classic. Iced Earth doesn't have a bad album though. My favorite is probably NotS or BO.

Iced Earth a lot killer albums, but for me they have just one classic... "Alive in Athens". Yes, is a live album, but for me, it's a classic, as Made in Japan, Strangers in the night, Live and Dangerous, Live/Life or Live After Death.

How can anyone say Dark Saga in the same breath as Something Wicked or Stormrider, I find Dark Sage to be very boring and it was my first Iced Earth purchase. I remember saying to myself "This sucks, I will not buy anything else from them" but I lied to myslef and went and bought Stormrider and Burnt Offerings. INFUCKINGCREDIBLE! I can't believe I almost missed out on those. But as for Something Wicked, it is pretty good but I don't get the classic feeling with it.

Have you read the comic book by any chance??? I found that when i had read the comic dark saga really came to life. Plus DS has my favourite song ever on it, A Question Of Heaven. Pure metal genius, the AIA version is simply breathtaking. I'd love it for that song alone.

I'm sorry but I don't read comics, never did and probaly never will. But as I said I just find Dark Saga to be boring, and now listening to it over again (for the first time in a while) it's not as bad as I mentioned earlier but I still don't feel it can be measured up to Stormrider, Something Wicked, or Burnt Offerings.
