Dionysus was never a great band, but their first two albums are solid melodic power metal with some great songs. But in my humble opinion, they pretty much took a nose dive with this one. The songwriting is quite similar to the previous albums but the melodies are not as memorable, the choruses are weaker and after a few songs I started to wonder "Haven't I heard this song before?". This album actually grew on me after some spins, too bad it only grew from mediocre to pretty average. 50/100

Just a note that should have been added:

Ronny (Drummer/one of main songwriters) is no longer in Dionysus.

It will be interesting to see how they continue when he was such a strong part of the band (in terms of composition - I believe his drumming can be replaced fine)

I wasn't aware of that....Thanks. Yes indeed it will be interesting to see what happens to this band especially since loosing one of the major song writers.
