This has Def Leppard written all over it. I'm not as much of an 80's hard rock guru as Ken, but I definitely hear Def Leppard in this. Nice review man.

Only in the harmonies, for the most part. Borchert sounds like Vince Neil and the music is like Cinderella meets Def Leppard. It's awesome!

It's amazing that someone can write like this in 2006.

This is how 80's rock bands should sound today, but instead we get Tommy Lee gone rapper.

I know! Some bands, like Tesla, for example, have modernized their sound a bit and still write great music, so it's cool. Other bands just try to go modern rock and they're incapable of writing good songs this way. Skid Row, anyone?

I really wish bands would just let down their defenses and do what they do best.

Yeah I hear the Def Leppard harmonies in this.

I say it's a nice combo of:

Def Leppard
Cinderella
Motley Crue
Bonfire

The moan in the beginning of Hell Yeah! kinda put me off, but this is some solid, fun stuff.. and I definetly got some Def Leppard vibes from it. Kinda hard not imagining these as being recorded in the 80's.. :D

Nice to get some samplers along with the reviews to..

I like that there are still some 80's styled hair metal bands like Trixie, still out there trying to preserve what was back then a genre that was becoming very diluted and overdone. This album is pretty good, though I don't think I'd go as far as giving it the "masterpiece" name tag.

I'm a huge 80s rock fan; I find this album to be outstanding. Every song is great.

I'm pretty big on 80's stuff as well, whether it be hair metal, nwobhm, speed, etc. Much of what we hear today was spawned from those times...... :dio:
