Ambient as in epic or hypnotic?

'False Dawn' is certainly that.

I love this album, thanks for the review.

Great album.

I'd give it a 90 as it's my third favorite Drudkh album behind 'Aurora' and 'Blood'.

Score's a bit on the high side, but it's still a good album.

Awesome album but a low 90s score would fit it better imo.

great album, I'd also place it 3rd behind Blood and then Autumn.

Are you sure Roman Saenko does vocals? official myspace says its "Thurios".

Yeah. Pretty sure it's Saenko. Vox sound very similar to his other tracks, with his brooding, deep growl. And yes, Ambient as hypnotic and epic, I consider that to be ambient as well as other methods used to create that sound.

You know, I'm not sure. Thurios does vocals for Astrofaes, which are pretty growly too. Their real names are both 'Roman', though.

I think he means ambient as in overall hypnotic effect rather than specific keyboard pieces.

Not talking about keyboards or natural effects. No synth or anything. Zad is spot on by saying exactly what I mean. Hypnotic effects, droning, repetitive riffs with a relaxing and calming nature.
