No matter what your pre conceived notions are, Alice has never disappointed. If you enjoy straight up rock and roll with very precise production yet nothing over produced then this is a record for you. Alice sounds exactly like he did in '70 and the man writes the most clever lyrics. Dirty Diamonds can be placed next to his classic 70's albums and sounds like it was the next logical step after Muscle of Love. I think this is his best since Trash.

I liked the last album and was excited to hear that he sticked to that style. Unfortunately, at least after hearing this through the first time, a day later I don't remember how a single tune sounded like! I remember the last track had the only memorable chorus, but was destroyed with raping in verses! The first half of Eyes of Alice Cooper (album before this) where killer, the rest were so-so, this could well be an album filled with tracks that never made it to the last album!

No, not really. I would have liked to have seen him live in his heyday, though.

He's one of my all time favorite rock personalities. Have all his records and cd's and have seen him live in each of the last 4 decades. He is a great rocker who dabbles in hard rock/metal at times. Not many people have had as long a career as him and still rock like he does!

I would prefer Aerosmith over AC

Ditto. Get into the Rolling Stones instead, much better!

Raise Your Fist and Yell album by Alice Cooper is the most overlooked amazing album you will ever find, every song is killer.

listen for yourself: http://www.amazon.de/exec/obidos/ASIN/B ... 46-8057001

wish they would remaster this amazing album.

this is not a good album... anyway since The Last Temptation, none of Alice's works have been good but where it's worse on this album is that it contains Alice's worst song ever : Stand ! bad bad bad bad song

the rest is, at best, average... 50/100 it is

Alice Cooper is awesome. Pretty much every single album.
