Is this one full of blast-beats too? That was my only complaint about The Ichnuemon Method which was otherwise absolutely superb...

I suppose blasting fits full on horrifying black metal than it does the hypnotic variety but I can't always get into the constant machine gun fire.

Wow sounds pretty cool, if this is as creepy as you say Daniel, I think I'll love this album.

what would your quote be if you did?

Um, Kaatharian? I reviewed it, not Daniel. Little mix-up, there.

I would quote it... just as high as the new SYL album. I listened to it an additional three times today and it's still utterly brilliant.

Lizardtail- there aren't nearly as many blastbeats on this one. More atmospheric stuff.

Where can I find some clips, or even a place to purchase it?

I added a link to purchase it through The End Records.

You can listen to some tracks at Soundclick.

They have Where The World Becomes Flesh from this album, and Reflections of the Underdark from their debut, The Ichneumon Method.

You actually liked it? Holy shit, I thought you'd hate the stuff. At least I think that's what you said.

To all: Await my upcoming reviews of their newest album, and of The Ichneumon Method.

Listened to the samples. I'm too closeminded for this.

This band is possibly the only industrial BM band I have heard that I really enjoy.

Aaah well I'm confused now because all the Dodheimsgard tracks I heard were not very industrial. At least nowhere near as industrial as this.

I really liked them though.

Well their first few albums were all black metal, then with the Satanic Art ep in 98 or so they did a little experimenting, and went pretty full on into it with 666 International (1999), their last and only full-length release as of yet since transforming their style. Maybe you heard the early stuff, or maybe these guys are just WAY more wacked out, I don't know
