Might you not know it, Lemmy got kicked out of Hawkwind and formed Motorhead, which is in fact a Hawkwind song. After you have heard this album, I'm sure you understand why he got kicked out.

Although you're going to get more and more resistance in the coming weeks for outlandish album choices, this one is safe I think. And I'm glad you titled it Space Rock..

I like the review, it's in the style it needed to be in. I'd give this album something like an 85 if I thought it meant anything.

btw, on the theme of albums outside of metal that will (or should) appeal to metalheads, can I suggest Tago Mago?

Good review of a good band. So far, you're still in my good books!

Why not score it?

Thanks. Because it's a live album, they are not supposed to be scored here...

Misha, good to see that a Hawkwind albums has finally been reviewed :D . There are plenty that deserve a review, probably more so than this one, such as "Levitation", "Doremi Fasol Latido", "Live Chronicles", "Warrior on the Edge of Time" and "Hall of the Mountain Grill".

Funny how much that rule seems to get bent, for EPs and things, but I can't be bothered searching for it.

If I see this (at a reasonable price) I'll buy it based on your reccomendation, I still haven't broken my HW virginity...

Thanks :D I'm afraid I'll leave it at this one, I picked it because it has most of the essential songs, and because it's a great record, but surely more of them deserve a review.

If you like The Meads Of Asphodel, I don't see why you wouldn't like Hawkwind. More rocky than BM, obviously.

It's not in you last played tracks, which means you didn't listen to it for more than 30 seconds.

No silly, my downloads folder is not included in the audioscrobbler config. So it doesn't show. I played the song 2 times.

Break the rules! I mean, you're going to review a tango album, you might as well rate a live album.

Misha told me their live stuff is best... Maybe that's why he reviewed this one.
