I believe Blitzkrieg was just played in their exclusive Berlin show.

I need to check this out again. I checked it out when I was really young and didn't recognize 80% of the bands.

Actually, a slight correction to the review. The Motorhead covers were B-sides on the Hero Of The Day single. So they were released before Garage, Inc.

I also like the Motorhead covers a lot (in fact, they're probably my favorite part of Garage, Inc.). But I also really like Turn The Page, Die Die My Darling, and Astronomy from the first disk. From the second disk (in addition to Motorheadache), I like Helpless, The Small Hours, Crash Course In Brain Surgery, Blitzkrieg, Stone Cold Crazy (which, by the way, was actually recorded before the Black Album sessions - it was recorded and released in 1990, and notice how James' voice in the song is sort of a mix of his And Justice For All and Black Album voices), So What, and Killing Time.

i never really noticed the vocal changes too much on Stone Cold Crazy till now. TBA and Justice mixed together.
i always thought that killing time was the best representation of the missing link between ...AJFA and TBA. always thought that metallica should make an album based on how that song sounds when they first proposed Death Magnetic or any other time before that.

oh if anybody wants to know what the original versions sound like. get yourself a double disk compilation called

Full Metal Garage: The Songs That Drove Metallica.

Its got 90 percent of the songs thats been covered on Garage Inc. plus a bunch of other songs that Metallica covered but never recorded in studio.
