Very harsh! I'm not sure what someone who hates hard rock is doing reviewing it, but anyway, Audrey Horne are a pretty good band, featuring members of Enslaved and Gorgoroth ( ).
You can hear samples at www.audreyhornemusic.com

I do not think "hate" is an emotion I apply to the music I am not quite into. Unlike many other people, reviewers and readers alike, I have welcomed all metal/rock genres with my CD collection and my reviews.
Specifically, on Audrey Horne, there are some good songs on it, interspersed with the ones I find nothing good about. The bad ones go on forever with the moaning vocals and samey melodies.
As I tried to say in my review, Katatonia is rock nowadays, but it is the one I enjoy, intricate and passionate. Also 59/100 is something defintely the fans of the genre should enjoy.

Well Aleksie, I have to admire your reviewing style. I know nothing about Audrey Horne, but although you stated clearly that it doesn't fall in your "favourite music" category, I still managed to get a picture of how this band sounds. That's a very rare feature of most reviewers: Not to be only subjective and saying this and that sucks or this and that rules, but beside that also to "paint" a objective and clear "picture" of what they're reviewing. I'm getting tired of reviews like: "This sucks!Don't buy" and that's it. I would like to see more reviews like this. This way you can't be accused of being biased, and you do your job the way it's supposed to be done. So, other reviewers please take notice (not necessarilly only on this site)! thanx.
