Wow... the score is ridiculously high. Doesn't even come close to the last album, which at least had some power to match its beauty. This one just kinda wanders around with a limp dick throughout its duration -- and this is coming from someone who likes soft, dreamy music ala Cocteau Twins, Sigur Ros, etc. Also, there's little shoegazing elements to speak of; this leans more to the post-rock side of things.

60/100, for me.

Ecailles was good though

I agree with the Limp Dick comment. I do like the album as a background music thing. My score would be on par with Zads. The reviewer's score is subjective. It's a pretty album, but nothing really jumped out at me or hooked me so far.

Yeah, it's lovely music, but completely unmemorable and emotionally empty; a shower of niceness that washes off immediately and leaves you unmoved.

Not interested.
Les Voyages was a step down in quality from Ecailles and this sounds far worse.
Also whats up with the Riitiir/Pearl Jam/Star Trek cover?

I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed the Star Trek emblem on the cover.

Anyway, I pretty much agree with Zad on this one, it's cheery shoegaze with little substance and absolutely no metal. I like straightforward shoegaze but everything that made Alcest unique is gone on this album. A nice album but a forgettable one.

I retract everything I said prior. I listened to this album today and it made me cry like a fucking baby.
