Ever since Violent Revolution, Kreator has continued to release one killer album after another! Some things do get better with age! :dio:

Ah, I'm not alone. I'm relieved. Maybe it will click later, though.

It's not that I don't like it, it's just more of the same. Where say the new Overkill, may be the same ol same ol, but it's just got that damn thrash energy get-the-fuck-upness that this lacks. I'll wait til I get my deluxe edition and see if my mind changes. I usually like something more after I've paid for it.

Could someone define a suicidal riff?

You may be waiting for a while. Looks like everyone is pissed off about it too.

I thought this might be a bit too melodic for you maybe.

Anyway, I can´t understand how people like Enemy of God, love Hordes of Chaos and then doesn´t like this.

I wonder if if he's using lower quality files until he rips his own copy?

Well, I don't really like Enemy of God and didn't really love Hordes of Chaos. I don't know where Phantom Antichrist will fall yet.

I ordered off of amazon.ca, but they probably get theirs from nuclear blast which seems to be shitting the bed on every bodies deliveries! How they can charge that much and then fuck up that bad is beyond me. And they wonder why people download everything nowadays.

I highly doubt poor shipping services is the reason why people download music. :P

Well obviously. I mean the price, over $30, plus shitty delivery would scare people off from ordering online ever again. Imagine some kid who just got into Kreator with this album, tries to buy it online and never receives it. Think he'll try buying online again or just say fuck it and download it?

Really good stuff, I love Kreator's brand of interesting, melodic thrash. They have sort of turned into the band I had hoped Slayer would become in their later career, but didn't.

I think that "Phantom Antichrist' is just slightly more melodic, with not as many easily/quickly digestible/enjoyable parts. That's not typically an issue I have with a new Kreator release, and I even thoroughly enjoyed all the 90's releases (especially "Renewal" and "Cause For Conflict") Phantom Antichrist took me almost 2 weeks of off and on listening to kind of 'get by' all the melody (some of it admittedly not coming off so fresh/exciting) and then get into the meat 'n' taters portions which many times are co-existent but not prominently featured. If you love Kreator, just keep playing it, and it should all make sense soon enough.

I loved this album upon my first hearing. There's nothing on it that would seem to be hard to digest or not grabbing my attention upon first hearing it, however.
