If the sound is that much better, I would seriously consider purchasing it. Master of Reality and Vol. 4 really could use a boost.. and I might even enjoy Never Say Die! Actually there are some songs on NSD that I quite enjoy.. (esp the last half of Swinging the Chain)

Actually when you put all those songs in a list it looks like quite an accomplishment.

OK, about the sound.. I re-read the review and it says the re-mastered sound is better than the original discs, does this mean the 1996 Castle remasters, or the original Warner CDs? The original originals were admittedly inconsistent..

The production is excellent considering it's from the early 70's, but a little boost to make Sabbath even fuller and heavier wouldn't hurt either.

I only have 2 of the Warner versions (Never Say Die and Technical Ecstacy), the rest were the original Castle Comm releases, not remasters......believe me when I tell you the difference on the Rhino releases is like night and day.

When will Sabbath release something that consisted of the non-ozzy years. Can hardly wait for that.
