I enjoyed the first song Where His Ravens Fly, but that isn't enough to save the mediocrity of the album. Agreed on the recycled melodies. Hopefully, Turisas and Moonsorrow will deliver in the paganfolk realm.

Yep, I found this to be pretty disappointing

Moonsorrow always delivers. Falkenbach is one of those bands I've become increasingly less interested in over the years. Can't even bring myself to listen to this one.

I enjoyed this one. Maybe it's because it's the first album by this band I've listened to properly. But I'm sure my viking metal cravings will be filled by the new Moonsorrow very soon and forget about this one. Still, a bit underrated.

I would have personally scored this 5 points higher; it's keeping the spirit of pure Viking/Folk Metal alive.
