Lately, I've been in a mood for a more simple approach to Metal which is traditional, powerful, and purely raw energy in nature. This album does just that. Great review.

I'm glad you guys finally got around to getting to this, its simple and enjoyable death metal and easily the band's best. Hammer Battalion, Winter's call, and the faster sections make this band even though they've always been hit or miss. Unfortunately, the band couldn't carry their formula onto as Yggdrasil trembles to make that a good album as well.
