Very similar sound to Rhapsody, haven't they? Was just thinking the other day that I'd like to get more from the Italians, love their OTT style and this sounds good too, from the MySpace samples... good review!

I'm really glad I checked this one out. Fall of An Empire somehow didn't do much for me. I guess it's because it was lacking Elisa Martins on vocals, of whom I'm a big fan of. But this one is just pushing the envelope of epicness and symphonic-ness!

It does sound like Rhapsody at times, minus most of the overly clichéd renaissance themes Rhapsody tackle on and especially, without Lione's annoying voice (I don't like the guy, sorry!). The guest vocalists is a great idea.

It's a shame this band passes under the radar for many only because of the (admittedly) overly flowery monicker! :P

Remember when we made fun of the band name, and then Philippe showed up here on the forum? Haha. Oops.

This actually sounds very promising. I wish Elisa Martin still sang for these guys, this new guy is kind of lame, but this sounds pretty good otherwise.

EPIC!

More musicians should post here.

You should find anything you need (including full concept, but old version without the new stuff and corrections) here: http://osyrhia.dragon-tech.org/

It's true .. I passed this one over because of 'Fairy' .. thankfully it was reviewed so I am able to enjoy this lush masterpiece!

I take back my earlier comment about the singer. He is actually really good. I am also really liking this album. Super catchy, super bombastic choruses, awesome musicianship... I'm struggling to find anything wrong with it.

I'm bumping this thread so there is at least one Power Metal review on the 1st page... plus people need to get past this band's name and listen to some new Fairyland.

One more bump. This is my album of the year as well as surprise of the decade. I've always thought this band was good, but that was back in the Elisa Martin days. This one blew me away. It is epic, catchy, and extremely well made. There is even a female vocal solo at the end of the album that gives me goose bumps. For those of you who don't know, I hate female vocals.

And yet you long for the Elisa Martin days.

Actually, I typically can't stand female vocalists either, but Elisa Martin is a rare exception. She may not be the best singer, but there's a certain quality to her voice that I fucking love.
