Fair enough.

I must say, sounds like you dig it but I'm not that desperate to hear it. They lost me a bit after the last one and it sounds like this is good but still in the same vein. The track I heard on the myspace seemed a bit like more of the same.

And yeah, pretty lame the "we're apolitical" squirming.

Yeah Estrangement wasn't my cup O' tea,not to say it was terrible, but Blood in our wells is easily my fav.I'll check out the new one, didn't know they released it yet.

It would so suck living in an area so filled with predjudice and hate.Just struggling to get by and BAM!Bunch of stupid fucks think genocide is the cure to economic and cultural problems go apeshit.People suck.Animals rule.

They haven't, it's out early July. The benefits of being on Season Of Mist's promo list. There's a track on their myspace, like rio said, link under the review as ever.

It is in the same vein as Estrangement but its also much better. Sure their new direction is a strange one and a bit harder to stomach compared to their older releases, but at least you can't fault these guys for a lack of passion. Drudkh are doing what they want instead of rehashing past glories and that deserves some respect in my book. Plus this is pretty damn good. Definitely deserves the 85.

I like it quite a bit. It's got a fairly good sounding production, and it's a bit different than the other 2 Drudkh albums I own, but not too different... Just like a band trying to mix it up a bit but still maintaining their sound. Good stuff. I would agree with the scoring on this album.

It's a classic, get it.

Anyway, I was disappointed with this release, It's probably Drudkh's worst ever. (And I'm including Songs of Grief and Solitude and Anti-Urban here)

Estrangement was a throwback to their first release, and leaned more towards the raw burzumic riffage found on that album. Microcosmos is just too melodic and 'clean' in production to really capture my interest.

I'll give this a 70, better than Estrangement but still miles away from the greatness of Blood In Our Wells.

This album is brilliant. Drudkh has such an amazing emotional value; such spiritual in sound... Their music is pleasing beyond words. This album is a return to form to their Forgotten Legends and Autumn Aurora sound. I would score this between 89-90. My score might go higher with more listens, though. I think my signature from Nietzsche can be proved wrong here with Drudkh's music, Wouldn't you agree? He should have heard Drudkh's music, what a shame!
