purrdy good album

Those were the good days of Melodic Death. The last Arch Enemy album I really liked was Wages of Sin, the only good stuff with Angela as vocalist.

A strong contender for my favorite melodeath album, this thing just has great guitarwork throughout. I'd best spin this one tonight.

I think Khelek died though his reviews are fine, Rio is good as well, V I'd like to see write again, and Zad is great as well when he's not thinking a bunch of underwear models play black metal.

Well. he reviewed shitty Amorphis so he's dead to me.

Never heard this one. I can only really tolerate Burning Bridges anymore so I really don't even feel like looking into this one.

Even though it was released before Bridges? Odd logic.

Eh. I used to love Burning Bridges but the last two times I've played it I really had no interest in it. That total lack of interest recently gives me no reason to look this up unless it is so radically different and I'm mistaken.

Mmm. Call me gay, but I enjoyed pretty much everything Arch Enemy did. I'd give this one an 85.

You know what?
I've loathed this band for so long that I forgot there was a brief time when they were cool.
I guess it's important to remember, since nowadays their creepy fanbois make me wanna kill Arch Enemy outright.

Oh I see how it is, didn't have the balls to say that in the Amorphis thread...
I've just been busier than normal so far this year, but now that some albums are coming out this summer I'm doing my best to get back into it.

As for this album, I have to be honest and say I've never really given it a solid listen, though the songs I have listened to from it are pretty awesome. Have to give it some spins this week after reading this review.
