I bought this album solely because of The Blackmobile... what a mistake. The heaviest song yes, but also the only memorable one.

Good review, good score. My favorite song is Odin's Tree, the lyrics on that one are pretty nice.

Why would anyone expect his solo release to be anything similar to the bands he's been in? If anything a solo album gives him the artistic freedom to do something a bit different. This album is just that. I like it. The production is questionable but I do like the progressive nature of the songs.

I wasn't thrilled with the album at first because I was expecting something entirely different. Definitely my fault and much to my own loss. I have given it time and a few additional listens which has given me a new appreciation for the material. This really is a great solid album that was deserving of the very accurate review given by our Goat'man'.
