Agh, I still need to listen to Frozen Tears! And apparently they have another album coming out later this year.

Will always be one of my favorite bands. Both albums they released this year were a huge return to form imo, my favorites since 2002.

Glad to see someone around here that enjoys them. Sometimes you feel like you're in the minority when it comes to enjoying bands like ROF,Hammerfall,Dragonforce and Manowar.

It's no surprise. This site probably isn't drawing too many power metal fans.

I really like your review Zad. It seems like you like RoF for the same reasons I do. This review, along with my brother's enjoyment of the band, make me want to expand my Rhapsody collection.

To be fair, most of the power metal we get to review is usually snapped up straight away by one of about 5 or 6 of us. One could hardly say we're biased against it when they're usually taken over whatever black/death stuff that's in the list.

I used to listen to Rhapsody all the time in highschool and they started to really sort of wear thin and stick with the same gimmick towards 2000. Now that they've changed their name, I think they're even more lame. I got their first release with the name change and it was arguably one of the more boring pieces of power metal I've listened to, and it lacked a lot of the flair and energy behind their earlier works.

Some people can only take so much homosexuality with their metal. :P

I know it's old but: You get yours with In Flames or? :P

I mean, have you seen their new title?

If you're referring to me, as with most bands I listen to, I only prefer their older albums. In Flames has been garbage since Clayman, but I don't want to get sidetracked.

Nah.. Evil Dead, I suggested that he gets his dose of homosexuality through In Flames.
