Every question deserves an answer.
Reason 1 - Lables/bands/publicists send me/us quite a few CDs. I believe that the least I can do is listen and post my honest opinion without kissing anybody's rear end for just sending me a free CD. All these bands deserve publicity - whether my review will be glowing or scathing. At least now you know Das Scheit exist and you have a description of the music they play. Whether to buy an album or not is your decision, and I hope I was impartial enough not to influence you in any way.
Reason 2 - I am an explorer and a curious one at that. I may not liek the genre but I woudl not be averse to trying it on once in a while, who knows may be the next CD in the genre will be the one which will open my eyes. Besides, in this particular case I don't like Rammstein, but gothic is quite OK by me.
