I've heard this band's name spun around every now and then, though I thought they were exclusively old school death sounding.

Good review, this is an awesome album, as are a ton of other albums in the old-school vein. In my opinion this album is an improvement over their first. I love death/doom and this is no exception, great cover art too.

Well, I signed up just to post in this thread. I'm at the end of the second song on the album and I can say this is very good stuff. Have never heard of this band and this is definitely something I would listen to again and again.

Ah, I finished the album and I must say. This is a keeper, and it sounds really refreshing. I see a lot of really good albums on here that barely get comments, I hope this isn't one of them because I think this deserves some discussion. As the review impies, it may not be anything new and innovative, but it's done really well.

Yeah, excellent. Only got round to listening to this now.

Erm, not an expert, but I did say Hammer Horror-esque, so I think I got away with it.

Oh, how I love the last track on this album.
