Hmm, perhaps, though I've always considered Falkenbach pretty Metal for the most part. Then again, I usually only listen to the demos and first album so maybe my perspective is a little skewed.

But if you mean less folk instrument use then yes, there is acoustic guitar and distorted guitar and some ambient effects so it's fairly stripped down, hence why I mentioned Primordial.
