Okay, I wanted to try it but, now that I've read your review, I feel I MUST try it.
I'll get back to you with my comments on this "thing".

So... I listened to it.
First of all, let me tell you that this is not the kind of music I'd listen everyday, not that there's anything wrong with people mixing genres which are not made to be blended together. They certainly do it convincingly well and this, coming from someone who can't stand Mr. Bungle's Disco Volante (easily the crappiest of their three albums) is saying something.
But back to Chrome Hoof... Well, it's very funny to listen to. I fail to hear the disco part of their sound but that crazy fusion of electronica, metal, pop, jazz, funk (etc.) works pretty damn well. Actually, the crazier it got the biggest the grin on my face was. Sure, one spin of it is hardly enough to "get it all" and I'll have to get back at it to understand it all and fully appreciate it.
One thing is sure, it's refreshing to see such albums reviewed on a metal webzine. But I guess Metal Reviews is kind of an unique webzine with an open-mindedness unlike any other I visited.
Keep up the good work!

They're 2007 album was like Space Truckin' + Disco so yeah I could see what you're saying. Not bad but nothing I love. Quirky and cute but no masterpiece.
