Dark Tranquility are the best at what they do. Stanne is unrivaled, and I wish he'd do a tad more cleans because his singing voice is excellent as well.

I'm gonna pick this DVD up because I unfortunately missed DT the last time they rolled around NY

I find it interesting that Alex mentions the shows at Harpo's and Peabody's... I live a few minutes outside Cleveland and was probably at every Peabody's show with DT in attendance. Hell, I went to Cleveland State University across the street. Pretty cool. I was probably standing next to Alex a couple times at the 2008 show at Peabody's then, haha.

I just finished watching this, and I must say that as much as I enjoy DT, I am a bit dissapointed with the video quality. Why they decided to place a fuzzy filter over the whole live show is to me a complete mystery.

Great songs, great performance, but when making a DVD one has to keep in mind that people will be watching it too!

I wish bands would start releasing true HD quality (both sound and video) instead.

These guys really need to change up their sound.

Ah well maybe, I don't know at least on Character they had an unrivaled sound compared to the other Swedish bands. When I listen to Fiction it just sound slike a rehashed version of their last few albums. At this point I don't think they really have to prove anything to anyone now though. But a change of pace would be interesting for them
