Hangman's Hymn ... completely fell apart in its third part

That's a bit harsh.

I don't get why everyone seems to continually want sigh to be more avant-garde...? They just have to keep getting weirder and weirder? Imo this album is the perfect mix of the earliest dirty black-thrash of Sigh and the orchestral stuff, which I have sometimes found to be overbearing.

Anyway this band has never produced anything worth less than an 85 for me.

I saw the music video (dreadful video, heh) and am surprised by how poor the production is. I thought they'd have changed that after the negative feedback for GG, but this lacks that album's psychedelic feel and so the production is a big minus. I'll listen eventually, but like James I find newer Sigh quite a disappointment compared to their older stuff.

The muddy production actually makes this album better IMO.

I didn't mind the production on the first run of Gallow Gallery, but the last two've went way downhill from it. Didn't get into the last one that much and going from what I heard from this they're just heading down the same track. Also, why the hell is Imaginary Sonicscape the lowest rated album on here  :P?
