I have not listened to this yet, but after reading the review I must. I loved Steve Lee with Ayreon and I have listened to some Gotthard and liked it. So this should please me plenty.

Gotthard are a simply brilliant band. I first got into them with Lipservice a couple of years ago, still dont have their earlier records (other than dFrosted which is a sensational live acoustic gig) and their "One Team One Spirit" collection, but have Domino Effect and Shangri-La and completely agree with the review. Its bands like these that make me wonder why melodic rock / hard rock isnt very popular anymore, the song writing, musician ship and more importantly, the emotions you feel listening to this kind of music are so much for satisfying than the manufactured drizzle that radio and TV feed to the masses....
Anyway, if anyone even thinks they have a passing interest needs to check this album out, OR to see how kick ass they are live, get the Made in Switzerland DVD!! you wont be dissapointed!
