Rigor Mortis has never left. They still play shows in Texas all of the time, especially Dallas.

As for this band, it got old quickly. They should have decided to become an overall parody band, instead of just an Arnie parody band. The well has already run dry for this subject matter.

I don't mind sarcastic, humorous bands, like The Dead Milkmen and The Meatmen. Because that's just how they are; it's a natural-sounding part of the music. It fits.

Shit like Austrian Death Machine—which tries way too hard to be funny and witty—is good for a few minutes, then it gets annoying. It's like the musical equivalent of candy corn—okay once a year, and even then it's not good for long.

I don't like metalcore one bit, especially As I Lay Dying, but I had a chuckle at a few of the songs on the first album (not that you can really ever listen to them a second time). I guess I'll be borrowing the second CD for one listen, if I ever get bored enough.

There's a difference between taking something too seriously and having a "so what" attitude toward it. This isn't a jab at you, but I honestly feel sorry for you if you don't recognize that difference and live your life without a sense of humor.
