Thank, Zad, not for this one (that is better than the score, a 75 for me) but for the ones to come... Jonah's Ark, specially, as a classic for sure

Acceptable-good album, but just a shadow of the great ones to come.

Ah, well, 75 would make it very good, and it isn't that. Not enough killer songs, as I said.

And yes, cheers, more to come. :)

I always wondered what Walkyier did after Sabbat. I bought this album a while back and grew to like it over time. I'd give it high 70's.

You've heard the songs that The Clan Destined did before they split? I reviewed it here ages ago, pretty good stuff.

Edit - misread your post as 'after Skyclad' but I'll leave it because enough people don't know of TCD.

Definitely not their best, but I like this album (a lot more than Zad apparently) :D

I think I've got a soft spot for Wayward Sons because it was my first foray into both a great band and genre.

This album is much much better than a 60. It may not be a Silent whales of Lunar sea or Price of the poverty line, but its a good mixture of minor folk elements and the thrash Walkyier brought from Sabbat. Its a shame it doesn't get much attention, The Sky beneath my feet and Our dying Island are great songs. These guys are much better than the Running naked through the forest shit bands they'd inspire much later.
