This has fast become my favourite release of 2009 so far. I'd give it a 92. Daggers is one monstrous song.

Oh, by the way, I noticed in the second last paragraph:

"If you’re a fan of , this may be for you as The Chariot and this album in particular can be described as a much heavier version of present day above."

fan of.... Norma Jean?

Considering that Josh Scogin is actually the ex-vocalist of Norma Jean (he was on "Bless The Martyr....") it's not really surprising. I think he just took the sound of that album, and upped the energy, as opposed to how Norma Jean calmed down a little bit. I like The Chariot more than Norma Jean anyways.
