Utterly, utterly fantastic album by a CRIMINALLY underrated band.

Normally hate black metal vocals, but the musicianship here is SO finely tuned and well executed that I couldn't care less. Besides, something about that death metal back-up vocal makes it work.

Not convinced yet that this is better or worse than their debut, but it's a very close call. This one sounds a lot heavier to my ears, which I'm not sure their sound needed. It was fine on the debut.

Anyway, really brilliant slab of music, this. 89/100

I usually agree with you on bands, but I can not stand these guys. Pure rubbish IMO.

Yeah, I remember you hating on their debut.

I didn't get it then, and I don't get it now! The riffs are sharp, the drums are insane...but yeah, you can say that about any number of thrash bands.

With these guys, what impresses me even more than the above is their experimental lean. They have songs which sprawl and unfold weirdly, but they never stray too far from that thrashy sound. I think they've got something really special happening.

Was honestly hoping for maybe a bit more improvement between the debut and this, but still, can't complain too much. Good album.
