Ruins are indeed an awesome band. They have a pretty different take on black metal, but it is one that is very good :dio:

Btw it was released in 2008.

Yes much much better! They do a good live show too. when I saw them the bass was really heavy in the mix, made it feel incredibly doomy.

In Australia it was released in 2008, this is the 'official' worldwide release.

I still think you can very well compare Mozart to Napalm Death or Britney Spears to Ornette Coleman because it's all music.

The emotions intended to be expressed by each are opposite, so why compare them?

Any of you Aussies checked Ruins' new album yet, Front The Final Foes? It was out in June over there, Debemur Morti will be giving it a worldwide release in a few months. Looking forwards!
