Another album/band I just can't seem to "get", it seems, even with all the praise for them. It's kind of funny, how I like some other sludge bands like Giant Squid and Callisto but not this. Isis just doesn't grab me, somehow... oh well. Can't like it all, I guess.

You're not alone on that one.. I'm sure me and noodles both hear ya loud and clear.

Good review, anyway. Personally I don't like Cult of Luna, either... I think this general style is just not for me.
