october tide is pure perfection, even if it could be compared, and it cant, my dying bride cant hold a candle to october tide.

best doomdeath band, together with early katatonia.

As much as I like the early Katatonia albums, I have to agree with this review. I searched for this forever, and when I finally got my hands on it I was sorely disappointed. It's a mediocre listen with some good ideas sprinkled throughout. The talent level is certainly there, but it just doesn't translate into the songs.

This seems to be hit/miss... I'm reading great as well as less great reviews of it.

My opinion is right there in the review. It awas just boring. Plain and simple. Nothing interesting apart from some ncie melodies.
