My favorite Testament album which makes it bother me that Formation is rated higher, which makes it also rated higher than The Gathering.

The songs on this album are just so damn catchy and heavy that if you like Testament's style, you will love this album.

Great album. It's kind of like Testament's own version of Master Of Puppets (an album they've been trying to imitate since The Legacy btw) in the sense that the band really started branching out with it and became more than just another thrash band.

You were right the first time, this album rather sucks for the most part. Only the title track, Sins of Omission and The Ballad are all that interesting, and the production is awful. It has nothing on their two first, or their two last (The Gathering is my personal fave).

That said, the title track has one of my favorite solos of all time.

its not like i dont like the old albums (legacy and practice what you preach are godlike) but IMO none of their albums will reach The Gathering...Its got a tone of balls this album..New one is awsome as well.
