That it is H_T, that it is. Have you heard Lords of Hypocrisy too? Pagan Altar has yet to disappoint me.

Great review Thomas, this album is a complete masterpiece and im glad that you also think that way because honestly this band needs more fans, no weak track here everything is perfect from the singing to the amazing leads to the old school production, i know it goes without saying but im gonna say it anyways you should really check out their previous albums im sure youre gonna love them.

On a side note Thomas seeing that you liked this so much, you should also listen to the new Dark Quarterer album "symbols" i think you wont be dissapointed.

The first Dark Quarterer album is a fucking masterpiece as well. Since we're on the topic of doomy NWOBHM type bands, anyone love Witchfynde as much as I do?

Well i think that Jerry Fogle (RIP) is one of the mightiest guitar players in metal history. His solos are my absolute favorite in heavy metal. Metalxxx, which album are you going to do? They're all good, except Paradise Lost, which is only ok.

I would have to say "One Foot in Hell" is my absolute favorite, but I understand if King of the Dead is your favorite, its my brothers'. Frost and Fire is excellent as well. Who else but Tim Baker could proclaim "I've got my rock'n roll hair cut, and my rock n' roll jeans"?

Thought about one foot in hell and frost and fire... Wait and see, don't know if I'll get them done for monday.

I like both of those... Hard to choose a favorite.

Cirith Ungol is the author of my favorite heavy metal song of all time: 100 Mph. Greatest metal song ever for me. The riffs are rockingly heavy, Tim Baker's vocals are a total punch int he face, and simply put, the soloing is a delightful smorgasbord of rocking metal soloing. Best song ever. Period.

Can't stop listening to this album. This album has also awakened a desire in me to constantly listen to "Widow" by the band Ritual. both seem to have mastered the art of atmospheric, slightly psychadelic, doomy NWOBHM. HAIL ENGLAND!!

Great album. There's something magical about it indeed.

metal xxx, I'm kind of amazed by your choice of reviews. In a good way I mean. The Crown, Accept, Grand Magus, now Pagan Altar. From your posts on the forum, I'd figured you were just another Dream Theater/modern prog-power fanboy.

I won't deny that I'm a big prog fan, however, retro heavy/classic metal is probably what I like best. I rarely listen to Power Metal, other than Serenity and older Helloween maybe.

Otherwise I'm a big thrash fan, both old and new. The Crown is probably my favorite band at the moment along with Pagan Altar. Used to like melodeath, but grew tired, and I'm not a big fan of the new bands trying to re-create the old days.
