Was going to Crappathemonth this ages ago, but forgot/couldn't be bothered. Avril Lavigne is literally less crap than this.

She opened up for Maiden in July last year, and from what I remember the music wasn't all that much to write home about. Not crap but uninteresting. I like some Pop or Rock when it's good but in my opinion this isn't.

She definitely sucked at Heavy MTL. Not a good way to start the show, even though she was the second band to play. We were waiting patiently for Overkill to come on, but eventually couldn't take it and started chanting for Overkill as she was still playing.

This is actually pretty good radio metal or rock. Its got solos. All right its sounds a little bit Avril and Shania Twain. I feel a lil bit of country here too. Uhhh... but if get underneath it all, it actually sounds a little bit 70's. I hear a keyboard in the mix that sort of reminded me of Styx for a second. Its pop classic rock... ha ha. This is alot better than 95 percent of radio rock. Most bands just want to focus on the same boring post grunge blueprint. Soft verse, hard chorus, repeat, bridge, verse. This has more speed to it. Its pretty bland. I'll give this a fifty. You know why this album is called the Calm Before the Storm? It's truly calm Pop. Next album will be called "The Storm"... and its Brtual Death Metal. Then the third album will be called "The Aftermath of the Storm". It'll be Doom Metal. Just slowly creeps away like the aftermath of a storm. ha ha..lol..
This is not metal. I just hope she makes a heavy straight foward high octane rock album next time. ha ha....

Uh..+1.

I find Lauren to be a good laugh and great example that not everyone can ride their father's coattails into the music business.

Ha, I remember that. Goddamn she was awful. And Overkill was delayed for an hour in favour of that fat roadie playing the drums.
