Fridge, the issue here is not your sexual foibles, it's whether the rest of us want to discuss it. I'd wager that were I to ask that question in a poll, the majority would not want to talk about it.

It's not a discussion about it, it's a metaphor that describes quite accurately the importance of TFOI within the metalcore context. So phooey.

Actually, it's a simile, not a metaphor. It's a quite clever simile at that. It's just gross is all.

Aye, you're right, it's a simile.

I don't know what any of you are fucking talking about and I'm not going to really bother looking into it. I've been listening to these guys since 2004 and this is probably their second best album.

This Darkened Heart had a bit more of a personal touch in my opinion and this album is a push into the more generic " We're gonna scream for a bit, jam for a bit, but then have a really nice catchy chorus with clean vocals " metalcore. I think it's a real shame. That being said, this is still a pretty solid album. I'd probably sit it around 75... Maybe 80 tops.

Their last album was crap and I stopped listening to it after a few songs because it was even more generic.

Overcome is the one you're talking about right?, I got the same vibes especially since Labonte used less of his harsh vocals. Some of the riffing was just too formulaic for my taste

Overcome lacks the energy TDH and TFoI have.

I just listened to their upcoming single. I can only conclude that this band is dead.

Listening to both tracks now, Hold On and For We Are Many. What the fuck.

For We Are Many is ok, but Hold On is even worse than anything on Overcome.
