I liked Metal Maniacs, I used to buy it every time it was out on Saturdays and then have a sandwich at subway in my Xasthur t-shirt while I read about the latest bands. Ain't done it in a while, but I like the memory, though it faded around the ages via much handling.

But then again, I like print media. I read two newspapers every day and I subscribe to three magazines.

btw, Liz Ciavarella was goddamned awesome.

Magazines that fail to embrace the internet and generate a buzz about a new format are going to fail, simple as that. A lot of major mags are shutting their doors. It's a shame.

i read metal edge a few days ago and the issue was fresh and what not.
I don't know how impending is their cancellation as magazines?
