True. I'm not seriously defending that MetalStorm review, but I agree with its conclusion more than I do with Tyler's.

Fuck, even Ultra Beatdown was only 10 pages. That's when I had TheMetalWarrior dude trying to convince me that a single Dragonforce song was more complex and nuanced than the entire Manowar catalogue. Heh.

Don't even go there. I bitched and complained endlessly about that extremely biased review. It is still one of the best albums of it's year.

Although I would never go so far as saying it was one of the best albums of the year, I do enjoy it. So I didn't make the joke because I hate Slipknot (because I don't), but because I know most people around here hate them.

If you count the old forums, this thread has a long way to go before beating the amount of posts for the St. Anger review. I remember a member saying his was the 666th post. And after that, there were a lot more posts. So, I would say it might have had around 700-800 or maybe more posts.
