The problem with this band is that they're just not good. The singer reminds me of Roger Miret.

I like some stuff like this, but this just isn't very good. I also think that while the lyrics may be stupid, the ebonicisms quoted in the review may just be a little exagerrated.

If you're referring to the 'questions' in my little test, Only a few of them were so called ebonocisms and were there for the purpose of humour as opposed to a boring rant about how crap the album was. Pluse many of them (the gangland hardcore stuff) was precisely the vibe the album and much of it's lyrical content gives off. There are actually a vast number of middle class teens / young people (in Britain as well as the US) who call their group of friends a crew, use those phrases and are obsessed with this culture purported by mainstream hip hop. Those people would likely answer yes to a number of the questions thus would gain enjoyment from this album. The culture itself is an exaggeration of a segment of society that have to suffer under terrible conditions and poverty, all taken onboard by bored middle class people, precisely the demographic this garbage was aimed at.

As far as the lyrics are concerned, definately not an exaggeration as those were taken word for word from their respective songs.

Oh man the Crews are funny. A bunch of scruffy faggots who hang in packs calling themselves shit like The Clock Crew and being cocky fuckin bastards when in gangs, but just ebing scruffs when alone. Unless it's a crew of scary people.

I would like to congratulate Al for this great review, it's really one of the best I have read in metalreviews.

As for the band.. I don't even think non-metal bands should be reviewed in this site, but that it's a whole other topic of discussion.

I dropped a seed on this piece of filth.

Great review though, you had me rolling.
